Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Iowa was 945,515 and represented 41.20% of the total Iowa citizen voting-age population.

Among all Iowa counties, Polk had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (16.79K), followed by Scott (8.16K), and Black Hawk (7.56K).

In terms of percentages, Black Hawk had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (7.48%), followed by Scott (6.44%), and Polk (5.20%).
