Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population for South Dakota was 2,546,550 and represented 406.10% of the total South Dakota citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Dakota counties, Minnehaha had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population (118.65K), followed by Pennington (68.91K), and Lincoln (34.57K).

In terms of percentages, Deuel had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (99.40%), followed by Sully (99.09%), and Jerauld (99.01%).
