Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for Tennessee was 3,188,605 and represented 49.89% of the total Tennessee citizen population.

Among all Tennessee counties, Davidson had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (372.08K), followed by Knox (371.89K), and Shelby (339.36K).

In terms of percentages, Hancock had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (98.09%), followed by Scott (97.63%), and Fentress (97.09%).
