Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the California citizen voting-age population was 25.23M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (11.94M) and constituted 47.32% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (7.37M) and constituted 29.23% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Asian Alone ethnicity group had the third highest (3.41M), constituting 13.53% of the total citizen voting-age population.
