Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the South Carolina citizen voting-age population was 3.73M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (2.54M) and constituted 67.99% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (999.23K) and constituted 26.78% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (99.57K), constituting 2.67% of the total citizen voting-age population.
