Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the South Carolina citizen voting-age population was 3.84M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (2.60M) and constituted 67.73% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (999.90K) and constituted 26.06% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (120.07K), constituting 3.13% of the total citizen voting-age population.
