Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the Virginia citizen voting-age population was 6.20M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (4.18M) and constituted 67.35% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (1.20M) and constituted 19.35% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (353.22K), constituting 5.70% of the total citizen voting-age population.
