Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the Alabama citizen voting-age population was 3.78M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (2.60M) and constituted 68.75% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (990.64K) and constituted 26.19% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (81.92K), constituting 2.17% of the total citizen voting-age population.
