Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the Tennessee citizen voting-age population was 5.14M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (4.01M) and constituted 78.13% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (831.26K) and constituted 16.18% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (136.00K), constituting 2.65% of the total citizen voting-age population.
