Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the West Virginia citizen voting-age population was 1.42M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (1.33M) and constituted 93.25% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (49.24K) and constituted 3.46% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Two Or More Races ethnicity group had the third highest (19.52K), constituting 1.37% of the total citizen voting-age population.
