Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the total immigrant or foreign-born population in Maine was 49.30K which was 3.63% of Maine's population. Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest immigrant population (18.27K) and immigrants constituted 6.07% of its population, followed by York (pop: 7.71K, perc: 3.66%), and then Penobscot (pop: 4.56K, perc: 3.00%).
