Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the total immigrant or foreign-born population in New Jersey was 2.12M which was 22.91% of New Jersey's population. Among all New Jersey counties, Hudson had the highest immigrant population (306.22K) and immigrants constituted 42.93% of its population, followed by Bergen (pop: 294.23K, perc: 30.88%), and then Middlesex (pop: 286.81K, perc: 33.40%).
