Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Kansas was 1,317,960 and represented 46.79% of the total Kansas citizen population.

Among all Kansas counties, Sedgwick had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (40.05K), followed by Wyandotte (33.17K), and Johnson (26.10K).
