Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 998,375 and represented 25.56% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (148.00K), followed by Charleston (77.54K), and Greenville (68.62K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (70.81%), followed by Williamsburg (64.76%), and Orangeburg (61.27%).
