Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Rhode Island was 1,311,185 and represented 128.37% of the total Rhode Island citizen population.

Among all Rhode Island counties, Providence had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (50.47K), followed by Kent (2.95K), and Newport (2.87K).
