Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the citizen voting-age population for Maryland's State Legislative Subdistrict 27A was 32.64K. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone racial group had the highest citizen voting-age population (20.79K) and constituted 63.68% of the total.

The Non-Hispanic White Alone racial group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (7.55K) and constituted 23.13% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races racial group had the third highest (1.70K) and constituted 5.22% of the total citizen voting-age population.
