Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 622,998 people in Alaska who had Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 87.82% of Alaska population), and 86,440 people who did not have a Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 12.18% of Alaska population).
The following age groups had the highest percentage of their population who did not have a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 25 Years age group (21.19%), followed by the 26 - 34 Years age group (20.20%), and the 35 - 44 Years age group (14.38%).
