Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 6,233,168 people in Arizona who had Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 89.35% of Arizona population), and 743,344 people who did not have a Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 10.66% of Arizona population).

The following age groups had the highest percentage of their population who did not have a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 25 Years age group (17.75%), followed by the 26 - 34 Years age group (16.63%), and the 35 - 44 Years age group (15.11%).
