Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 909,797 people in Delaware who had Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 94.16% of Delaware population), and 56,442 people who did not have a Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 5.84% of Delaware population).

The following age groups had the highest percentage of their population who did not have a health insurance coverage: the 26 - 34 Years age group (11.70%), followed by the 35 - 44 Years age group (9.13%), and the 19 - 25 Years age group (9.07%).
