Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 9,067,501 people in Georgia who had Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 86.87% of Georgia population), and 1,371,027 people who did not have a Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 13.13% of Georgia population).

The following age groups had the highest percentage of their population who did not have a health insurance coverage: the 26 - 34 Years age group (22.92%), followed by the 19 - 25 Years age group (22.52%), and the 35 - 44 Years age group (19.84%).
