New Jersey Health Insurance Coverage Status By Age Group in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)
Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 8,439,671 people in New Jersey who had Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 92.45% of New Jersey population), and 689,666 people who did not have a Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 7.55% of New Jersey population).
The following age groups had the highest percentage of their population who did not have a health insurance coverage: the 26 - 34 Years age group (14.21%), followed by the 35 - 44 Years age group (12.58%), and the 19 - 25 Years age group (11.61%).
