Pennsylvania Health Insurance Coverage Status By Age Group in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 12,053,542 people in Pennsylvania who had Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 94.38% of Pennsylvania population), and 717,759 people who did not have a Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 5.62% of Pennsylvania population).

The following age groups had the highest percentage of their population who did not have a health insurance coverage: the 26 - 34 Years age group (10.33%), followed by the 19 - 25 Years age group (8.90%), and the 35 - 44 Years age group (7.83%).
