Utah Health Insurance Coverage Status By Age Group in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 2,917,062 people in Utah who had Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 91.01% of Utah population), and 288,116 people who did not have a Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 8.99% of Utah population).

The following age groups had the highest percentage of their population who did not have a health insurance coverage: the 26 - 34 Years age group (13.88%), followed by the 19 - 25 Years age group (12.21%), and the 35 - 44 Years age group (11.68%).
