Washington Health Insurance Coverage Status By Age Group in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)
Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 7,025,766 people in Washington who had Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 93.64% of Washington population), and 477,069 people who did not have a Health Insurance coverage (i.e. 6.36% of Washington population).
The following age groups had the highest percentage of their population who did not have a health insurance coverage: the 26 - 34 Years age group (11.21%), followed by the 19 - 25 Years age group (10.81%), and the 35 - 44 Years age group (10.06%).
