According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2016, the number of births for Alabama was 59,695. Jefferson County had the highest number of births (8,626), followed by Mobile County (5,636), and Madison County (4,191) On the other hand, Coosa County had the lowest number of births (82), followed by Greene County (96), and Lowndes County (120).
