According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the number of births for Alaska was 9,356. Anchorage Borough had the highest number of births (3,600), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (1,448), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough (1,376) On the other hand, Yakutat City and Borough had the lowest number of births (2), followed by Skagway Borough (9), and Aleutians East Borough (9).
