According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the number of births for New Jersey was 101,476. Essex County had the highest number of births (10,382), followed by Hudson County (10,189), and Middlesex County (9,373) On the other hand, Salem County had the lowest number of births (664), followed by Cape May County (776), and Warren County (911).
