According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the number of births for North Dakota was 9,211. Cass County had the highest number of births (2,202), followed by Burleigh County (1,107), and Ward County (1,063) On the other hand, Billings County had the lowest number of births (5), followed by Slope County (10), and Sheridan County (11).
