According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2020, the number of births for West Virginia was 17,571. Kanawha County had the highest number of births (1,790), followed by Berkeley County (1,472), and Cabell County (1,013) On the other hand, Calhoun County had the lowest number of births (49), followed by Wirt County (52), and Tucker County (54).
