Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, the Black or African American Alone population in Alaska was 26,876 and represented 3.64% of the total Alaska population (738,430).

Among Alaska counties, Anchorage Borough had the highest number of people who identified as Black or African American Alone (17,683), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (5,210), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough (1,211). Bristol Bay Borough had the lowest (1).
