Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, the White Alone population in Connecticut was 2,821,846 and represented 78.01% of the total Connecticut population (3,617,176).

Among Connecticut counties, Capitol Planning Region had the highest number of people who identified as White Alone (731,421), followed by Western Connecticut Planning Region (488,620), and South Central Connecticut Planning Region (425,237). Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region had the lowest (89,437).
