Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the Asian Alone population in Idaho was 21,579 and represented 1.35% of the total Idaho population (1,595,910).

Among Idaho counties, Ada County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (10,512), followed by Canyon County (1,804), and Kootenai County (1,146). Camas County had the lowest (3).
