Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, the Asian Alone population in Illinois was 736,701 and represented 5.77% of the total Illinois population (12,779,893).

Among Illinois counties, Cook County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (402,770), followed by DuPage County (114,802), and Lake County (57,115). Gallatin County had the lowest (4).
