Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, the Asian Alone population in Iowa was 87,575 and represented 2.74% of the total Iowa population (3,197,689).

Among Iowa counties, Polk County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (25,823), followed by Johnson County (9,946), and Story County (7,883). Monona County had the lowest (25).
