Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, the White Alone population in Maine was 1,307,850 and represented 93.70% of the total Maine population (1,395,722).

Among Maine counties, Cumberland County had the highest number of people who identified as White Alone (282,043), followed by York County (206,939), and Penobscot County (146,438). Piscataquis County had the lowest (16,677).
