Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, the Asian Alone population in Michigan was 315,107 and represented 3.17% of the total Michigan population (9,954,117).

Among Michigan counties, Oakland County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (93,638), followed by Wayne County (58,820), and Washtenaw County (33,953). Keweenaw County had the lowest (2).
