Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, the White Alone population in New Jersey was 6,419,283 and represented 72.22% of the total New Jersey population (8,888,147).

Among New Jersey counties, Bergen County had the highest number of people who identified as White Alone (684,805), followed by Ocean County (553,531), and Monmouth County (527,064). Salem County had the lowest (51,164).
