Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the White Alone population in New Mexico was 1,720,274 and represented 81.20% of the total New Mexico population (2,118,488).

Among New Mexico counties, Bernalillo County had the highest number of people who identified as White Alone (562,410), followed by Doña Ana County (201,097), and Santa Fe County (140,010). Harding County had the lowest (618).
