Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, the Asian Alone population in New York was 1,530,787 and represented 7.85% of the total New York population (19,499,921).

Among New York counties, Queens County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (554,674), followed by Kings County (282,106), and New York County (190,390). Hamilton County had the lowest (26).
