Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, the Asian Alone population in North Carolina was 361,649 and represented 3.42% of the total North Carolina population (10,567,100).

Among North Carolina counties, Wake County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (96,134), followed by Mecklenburg County (73,407), and Guilford County (29,846). Hyde County had the lowest (39).
