Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, the Black or African American Alone population in Oklahoma was 303,054 and represented 7.72% of the total Oklahoma population (3,928,143).

Among Oklahoma counties, Oklahoma County had the highest number of people who identified as Black or African American Alone (124,240), followed by Tulsa County (69,536), and Comanche County (21,571). Cimarron County had the lowest (11).
