Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, the Asian Alone population in South Carolina was 90,485 and represented 1.78% of the total South Carolina population (5,091,702).

Among South Carolina counties, Greenville County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (13,786), followed by Richland County (12,058), and Spartanburg County (7,905). Calhoun County had the lowest (47).
