Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, the White Alone population in Tennessee was 5,165,917 and represented 78.93% of the total Tennessee population (6,544,617).

Among Tennessee counties, Davidson County had the highest number of people who identified as White Alone (438,496), followed by Shelby County (393,513), and Knox County (387,105). Pickett County had the lowest (5,009).
