Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the Asian Alone population in Virginia was 488,274 and represented 5.96% of the total Virginia population (8,187,456).

Among Virginia counties, Fairfax County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (205,946), followed by Loudoun County (54,170), and Prince William County (34,525). Highland County had the lowest (5).
