Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the White Alone population in Virginia was 5,961,510 and represented 69.02% of the total Virginia population (8,637,193).

Among Virginia counties, Fairfax County had the highest number of people who identified as White Alone (737,348), followed by Virginia Beach city (307,286), and Prince William County (298,935). Emporia city had the lowest (1,727).
