Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the Black or African American Alone population in Wyoming was 7,010 and represented 1.21% of the total Wyoming population (577,664).

Among Wyoming counties, Laramie County had the highest number of people who identified as Black or African American Alone (2,496), followed by Natrona County (1,031), and Albany County (578). Niobrara County had the lowest (23).
