According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 221,310 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in Colorado, which was 3.83% of the total Colorado population.

Arapahoe County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (68,152), followed by Denver County (61,098), and El Paso County (40,759). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone were: Mineral County (0), Jackson County (0), and San Juan County (1).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, Arapahoe County had the highest percentage (10.40%), followed by Crowley County (8.61%), and Denver County (8.54%).
