According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 3,127,052 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in Florida, which was 14.52% of the total Florida population.

Broward County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (517,618), followed by Miami-Dade County (378,756), and Duval County (286,344). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone were: Gilchrist County (788), Lafayette County (1,024), and Holmes County (1,211).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, Gadsden County had the highest percentage (53.22%), followed by Madison County (34.96%), and Jefferson County (31.70%).
