According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 1,228,264 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone in Maine, which was 90.16% of the total Maine population.

Cumberland County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone (262,137), followed by York County (194,044), and Penobscot County (138,306). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone were: Piscataquis County (15,474), Franklin County (27,211), and Washington County (27,587).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, Lincoln County had the highest percentage (93.85%), followed by Waldo County (93.12%), and Somerset County (92.94%).
