According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in Ohio was 1,073,902; and represented 11.66% of the total Ohio voting-age population.

Cuyahoga County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (275,164), followed by Franklin County (207,879), and Hamilton County (151,470). On the other hand, the three counties with low Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Monroe County (16), Vinton County (32), and Wyandot County (43).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's voting-age population that identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, Cuyahoga County had the highest percentage (27.27%), followed by Hamilton County (23.47%), and Franklin County (20.34%).
